Born and raised in Wasaga Beach ON, Allie grew up with a passion for training, sports and learning new things. A lifelong athlete she competed at the provincial and national level in multiple sports and found her love of movement in her early years as a competitive figure skater. Always looking for ways to get better she began studying movement and mindset in the context of athletic performance, took multiple courses and certifications and started developing her training system while learning from some of the top coaches and trainers along with her sister who played hockey for the Women's National team.
Expanding her knowledge and problem-solving skills, Allie earned a BA (Hons) in Philosophy from McMaster University while competing on the varsity cross-country and track team and JD from Western Law where she was selected as a Research Assistant for one of the country’s top sports lawyers working extensively in the area of athlete advocacy and dispute resolution. She was also a case manager for Sports Solution Clinic a program assisting Canadian athletes in preventing and resolving sport-related legal issues.
Following graduation and receiving her JD, Allie started getting busy with referrals for her development and performance training so decided to launch her company, which has grown into a trusted global brand - MOTO ATHLETIC.
With over a decade of experience, Allie has worked with athletes/teams from amateur to pros in the NHL, NBA, MLB, NFL and more including the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Blue Jays, Texas Rangers, Miami Heat, Cleveland Cavaliers, Calgary Flames, Vegas Golden Knights, Atlanta Braves, Cleveland Guardians, San Francisco Giants and Washington Nationals.
